Conservative artist and activist Scott LoBaido launched a protest against New York City’s crackdown on coal- and wood-fired ovens that involved him throwing multiple pizzas at City Hall.
Scott LoBaido was given a summons for tossing pizza at NY City Hall in protest after Democrats began a crackdown on coal oven pizzerias.

NYC Pizza Protest
Fox News reported that on Monday, LoBaido chucked multiple cheese pizzas over the fence at City Hall in New York City in response to the city’s crackdown on traditional pizza ovens. This crackdown will force many pizzeria owners to pay tens of thousands of dollars, just so that their ovens can meet the city’s new woke carbon emission standards.
“The woke-a– idiots who run this city are doing everything in their power to destroy it,” LoBaido said as he stood outside City Hall. “We have naked men with their t–ies bouncing around all over this city yesterday, in public, in front of children. We have the most violent, raging crime rate ever. We are being invaded by illegal immigrants who are being treated way better than our homeless veterans.”
“Our teachers and first responder heroes who were fired [are] still not compensated because they didn’t take the Fauci injection,” he continued. “Our city schools produce the dumbest kids and the woke a– punks who run New York S—-y are afraid of pizza? The world used to respect New Yorkers as tough, thick-skinned and gritty. Now, we have become pussified.”

‘Give Us Pizza Or Give Us Death’
Video of LoBaido’s protest that has since gone viral shows him approaching City Hall with several pizza boxes in his hands as he invokes the Boston Tea Party.
“Well … this is the New York Pizza Party! Give us pizza or give us death!” he said before opening the boxes and beginning to throw the pizzas over the fence.
“Give us pizza or give us death!” he chanted over and over as he threw the pizzas. “Destroying every small business, that’s what this city keeps doing. Can’t have a small business? Can’t have pizza? New York City is nothing without pizza.”
As officers tried to stop LoBaido, he declared that his protest was the “New York Pizza Party!”

Mayor Eric Adams Responds
Mayor Eric Adams (D) reportedly responded to the protest by defending his new regulations.
“Every toxic entity that we remove from our air is adding up to the overall desire to deal with shrinking our carbon footprint,” Adams said, according to Fox Business. “And the public can weigh in without throwing pizza over my gate. They could have delivered me the pie and allowed me to eat the pie and sat in the COW and have a conversation with me.”
“And so, I’m going to call the person who threw pizza over my gate to tell him he needs to bring a vegan pie to me, so we can sit down, and I want to hear his side of this,” he continued.
It remains to be seen if LoBaido and Adams will actually meet.

Coal Oven Crackdown
This came after the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) released a draft of new rules that would force pizzerias with coal- and wooden-fired ovens installed before 2016 to cut carbon emissions by 75% by installing a filter. They would then have to hire an engineer who would carry out regular inspections of carbon emissions.
“All New Yorkers deserve to breathe healthy air and wood and coal-fired stoves are among the largest contributors of harmful pollutants in neighborhoods with poor air quality,” said DEP spokesperson Ted Timbers. “This common-sense (sic) rule, developed with restaurant and environmental justice groups, requires a professional review of whether installing emission controls is feasible.”
Unfortunately for the pizzeria owners, however, they’ll have to pay thousands of dollars just to meet these regulations.
“Oh yeah, it’s a big expense,” said one pizzeria owner in Brooklyn. “It’s not just the expense of having it installed, it’s the maintenance. I got to pay somebody to do it, to go up there every couple of weeks and hose it down and, you know, do the maintenance.”

Liberals claim to love peaceful protests, so the woke leftists who currently run New York City should have no problem with LoBaido’s demonstration. Our thoughts go out to the small business pizzeria owners in New York City who will be negatively impacted by these new regulations.
