Last week, we reported that the legendary Pat Sajak, who has long been one of the only openly conservative entertainers in Hollywood, was retiring as the host of “Wheel Of Fortune” after 42 years with the game show. Now, Sajak’s replacement has been revealed.
Unfortunately, liberals are also taking this opportunity to attack Sajak for his conservative political views. Find out more about that later in the story.

Variety reported that Ryan Seacrest, the longtime host of “‘American Idol,” will be replacing Sajak as host of “Wheel Of Fortune.”
“I’m truly humbled to be stepping into the footsteps of the legendary Pat Sajak,” Seacrest wrote in a statement shared to his social media pages. “I can say, along with the rest of America, that it’s been a privilege and pure joy to watch Pat and Vanna on our television screens for an unprecedented 40 years, making us smile every night and feel right at home with them.”
“Pat, I love the way you’ve always celebrated the contestants and made viewers at home feel at ease,” he continued. “I look forward to learning everything I can from you during this transition.”
Seacrest concluded his statement by saying that he “can’t wait to continue the tradition of spinning the wheel and working alongside the great Vanna White.”

Sajak announced last week that he will be retiring from hosting “Wheel Of Fortune” after the upcoming 41st season. He’s hosted the show since 1981, and won three Daytime Emmy Awards as well as scored 19 other nominations for his work there.
“Well, the time has come. I’ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last,” Sajak wrote of his departure. “It’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all. (If nothing else, it’ll keep the clickbait sites busy!)”

Sajak Attacked For Conservative Views
Sadly but unsurprisingly, hateful leftists have tried to ruin this moment for Sajak by taking this opportunity to launch vicious attacks at him for his conservative political views. After Sajak announced his retirement, New Republic published an op-ed that was titled “Don’t Pour One Out for Pat Sajak, ‘Wheel of Fortune’s’ Die-Hard Right-Wing Host.”
“You may want to tap the brakes on pouring one out for the familiar face,” the piece read. “Turns out when he wasn’t busy adorning our television screens, he was on the front lines of advancing a right-wing agenda.”
The op-ed goes on to slam Sajak for any time that he’s even hinted at being a conservative over the years. It particularly takes issue with him attending the conservative Claremont Institute black-tie Lincoln Day Dinner back in 1999 “alongside other prominent conservatives, such as Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.”
The op-ed then states that at this event, “Sajak lamented how ‘these days, particularly when it comes to teaching our young, in terms of American history, the rules have been changed,’ complaining that ‘political correctness and other notions’ have ‘watered down’ some of history’s ‘more significant people and significant events.’”
Can’t really argue with Sajak there!
The op-ed also calls him out for past tweets, including one from 2014 that read, “I now believe global warming alarmists are unpatriotic racists knowingly misleading for their own ends.”
Unsurprisingly, the op-ed ends with hand wringing over Sajak being photographed with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) last fall.
“All that to say: Don’t be in too much of a rush to pour one out for Pat Sajak,” the final line of the op-ed reads.

‘Pat Sajak Is An Asshole’
The San Francisco Gate published a similar op-ed about Sajak that was bluntly titled “Pat Sajak Is An Asshole.”
After calling Sajak out for being conservative, this op-ed accused him of being an “empty suit,” “that one real estate agent your wife didn’t like,” and someone who “possesses all the warmth of a Cheesecake Factory host.”
The op-ed goes on to look forward to when Sajak is gone.
“It’s a chance to make ‘Wheel of Fortune,’ for the first time in decades, good television,” the op-ed reads. “No one was ever going to replace Trebek in the hearts of ‘Jeopardy!’ fans. By contrast, replacing Sajak in your heart will be as emotionally arduous as getting a new mailman.”
SF Chronicle reporter @drewmagary doesn't like Sajak's conservative politics, and calls him an asshole. I'd say it's a clear case of projection.

All of this simply because Sajak refuses to give up his conservative views and become just another liberal sheep in Hollywood.
In the end, we can only hope that Sajak doesn’t let hateful liberals ruin his retirement for him. He’s had an amazing tenure on “Wheel Of Fortune,” and bitter leftwing naysayers can never take that away from him.
We’ll all miss you, Mr. Sajak!
