Sharon And Ozzy’s Assistant Suicide Pact
Many had likely forgotten that Sharon shocked the world when she revealed in her 2007 memoir “Survivor: My Story – The Next Chapter” that she and Ozzy had made an assisted suicide pact. This came up this week on the latest episode of their latest episode of the “The Osbournes Podcast,” which features Sharon, 71, Ozzy, 74, their daughter Kelly, 38, and their son Jack, 37.
When Jack asked if euthanasia was potentially “still a plan” for his parents, Sharon was quick to confirm that it was.
“Do you think that we’re gonna suffer?” Sharon said with a laugh.
“Aren’t we already all suffering?” a shocked Jack questioned.
“Yes, we all are, but I don’t want it to actually hurt, as well,” Sharon fired back. “Mental suffering is enough pain without physical. So if you’ve got mental and physical, see ya.”
“But what if you could survive?” Kelly asked, to which Sharon responded, “Yeah, what if you survived and you can’t wipe your own a**, you’re pissing everywhere, s—-ing, can’t eat.”
Kelly Osbourne was spotted with baby Sidney, Sharon & Ozzy for a family lunch in Beverly Hills on Sunday.

Reasoning Behind Assisted Suicide Pact
Sharon explained back in 2007 that she and Ozzy drew up plans for a suicide pact after her father Don Arden, a famous music mogul in his own right, died of Alzheimer’s disease.
“We believe 100 percent in euthanasia, so [we] have drawn up plans to go to the assisted suicide flat in Switzerland if we ever have an illness that affects our brains,” Sharon told the Daily Mirror at the time. “If Ozzy or I ever got Alzheimer’s, that’s it — we’d be off. We gathered the kids around the kitchen table, told them our wishes and they’ve all agreed to go with it.”
Sharon went on to explain that because she watched her father “suffer from the day he came back into my life in 2002 to the day he died,” she couldn’t “put my kids through that.”
“At least with something like cancer you can communicate, say how you feel and explain why your body hurts,” she stated. “But my father deteriorated at such a rapid speed he became a shell of himself — dribbling, wearing a diaper and tied into a wheelchair because he didn’t realize he could no longer walk. Some say the disease is hereditary so at the first sign I want to be put out of my misery.”

Ozzy Chimes In
People Magazine reported that Ozzy doubled down on their potentially planned physician-assisted suicide in a 2014 interview, saying that it by then included any “life-threatening condition.”
“If I can’t live my life the way I’m living it now — and I don’t mean financially — then that’s it…[Switzerland],” he explained. “If I can’t get up and go to the bathroom myself and I’ve got tubes up my ass and an enema in my throat, then I’ve said to Sharon, ‘Just turn the machine off.’”
“If I had a stroke and was paralyzed, I don’t want to be here,” he added. “I’ve made a will and it’s all going to Sharon if I die before her, so ultimately it will all go to the kids.”
Sharon Osbourne is planning to open up an Ozzy Osbourne museum in his hometown of Birmingham, England that will include interactive and educational elements, as well as all of his memorabilia, videos and live recordings. #OzzyOsbourne pic.twitter.com/1pA7vLkDvj
