Even Donald Trump seemed a bit taken aback by new poll numbers that show him leading every single Democrat opponent in a hypothetical presidential election matchup.
“Wow, my Poll numbers continue to go up – Leading my opponents, including Crooked Joe, by a lot,” he wrote on the Truth Social media platform. “Make America great again!”
His post comes in response to Fox News polling showing that Trump not only leads all Democrats, but has widened his already significant lead against GOP primary opponents, and is seeing “record support” in demographics the current President must hold in order to win.
Even though the results are still within the statistical margin of error, the numbers show Trump leading Biden (4 points), Vice President Kamala Harris (5 points), California Governor Gavin Newsom (4 points), Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (2 points), and West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin (1 point).
NEW Fox News polling:
Donald Trump leads *every* Democrat tested against him.
leads Biden by 4 (50-46%)
leads Harris by 5 (50-45%)
leads Newsom by 4 (49-45%)
leads Whitmer by 2 (48-46%)
leads Manchin by 1 (47-46%)https://t.co/Avijk1Enja— Josh Kraushaar (@JoshKraushaar) November 15, 2023
Poll Is All Good News For Trump
Trump also took a swipe at his GOP primary opponents, particularly Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, over news that he had expanded his lead over the field in this latest poll.
He posted a graphic proclaiming he holds a “huge lead over GOP field,” complete with unflattering images of DeSantis and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.
And indeed, it’s true. The Fox News poll shows Trump dominating as per usual, leading DeSantis by 48 points (62-14%), up from a 46-point lead in the same poll for October.
He also leads former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley by 51 points, and biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy by 55 points. And that’s with DeSantis and Haley getting a slight bump as backup choices for voters who supported Senator Tim Scott, who bowed out of the race mid-polling.

Good News For Trump, Bad News For Biden
The Fox News poll also provides a bevy of bad news for President Joe Biden, including the fact that Trump is earning 50% in a head-to-head against him for the first time since a survey in October of 2015.
Biden is also seeing voting blocks swing towards Trump in this survey, with the GOP frontrunner making significant gains among independents (+21 points), Blacks (+15), Hispanics (+13), suburban voters (+8), and men (+4).
The overall polling seems to track closely with multiple other publications that show Trump starting to pull away in swing states and a New York Times effort which indicates that he’s earning increased support from black voters.
“Black voters — long a bulwark for Democrats and for Mr. Biden — are now registering 22 percent support in these states for Mr. Trump, a level unseen in presidential politics for a Republican in modern times,” the Times writes.

As with every poll, there is some bad news to be found for Trump’s campaign, though it may be of little concern, considering the current primary lead he holds.
Trump leads Biden by 4 points, yes, but DeSantis and Haley both fare better in a one-on-one matchup with the President. DeSantis leads Biden by 5 points, while Haley breaks away with a significant lead of 11 points.
She seems to hold a far better footing with Independent voters, college graduates, and suburban women.
“In this poll, at this time, Haley can make the case she is best positioned to win back the White House,” one of the pollsters tells Fox News.
Only time will tell how this all turns out.
