Philanthropist Elon Musk brutally mocked Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky’s repeated requests for American taxpayer money and argued that America should be the “top priority.”

Musk posted a meme featuring a photoshopped image of Zelensky’s face on Sunday, a version of a popular meme of a high school student with an intense look on his face in front of a “cute girl.”

“When it’s been 5 minutes and you haven’t asked for a billion dollars in aid,” the meme is captioned.

The post comes as President Joe Biden has urged Congress to keep American money to the Ukraine war effort flowing indefinitely.

Musk Mocks Zelensky, Calls To Put America First

The United States, according to the Associated Press, has already approved roughly $113 billion in aid to Ukraine since the start of its war with Russia.

A statement issued by President Biden regarding the passage of a bill to keep the government open addresses his latest request to Congress for approval of a nearly $40 billion aid package that includes an additional $24 billion for Ukraine.

Biden notes that the bill keeping the federal government open does not include that funding.

“While the Speaker [Kevin McCarthy] and the overwhelming majority of Congress have been steadfast in their support for Ukraine, there is no new funding in this agreement to continue that support,” he lamented. “We cannot under any circumstances allow American support for Ukraine to be interrupted.”

Musk replied to Biden’s comments in a post on his X social media platform.

“At the risk of saying something outlandish, I personally think that America should be top priority,” he said.

Imagine that – We live in an era where an American president putting America as his top priority is considered “outlandish.”

Musk Wonders Why American Politicians Care More About Ukraine’s Border Than Our Own

This isn’t the first time that Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky has been mocked for his continual insistence that the United States fight a proxy war by sending money to his corrupt nation.

X news personality Tucker Carlson, just prior to being fired by Fox News, had referred to Zelensky as a “troll” who was repeatedly “shaking down” Congress for more money.

“Some uppity foreigner in a T-shirt demanding money for his critical economic needs. We have critical economic needs too, buddy,” Carlson railed. “Who are you, troll? Go away.”

Critical economic needs of Americans? Pfft! Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) don’t care about that.

To be fair, Elon Musk’s post isn’t even the first time Zelensky’s begging has led to mockery in meme form. Who could forget this gem shared by Donald Trump Jr.?

Musk has been a vocal supporter of a peace plan to end the war in Ukraine.

The X chief, it was revealed, refused a request by Ukrainian officials to provide Starlink satellite communications access as a means to carry out an attack on the Russian naval fleet off the coast of Crimea, with some suggesting that he may have temporarily prevented escalation to nuclear war.

Musk earned the ire of “Ukraine First” politicians here in the United States by recently pointing out the obvious – that American lawmakers care more about securing foreign borders than our own.

“Why do so many American politicians from both parties care 100 times more about the Ukraine border than the USA border?” he openly wondered.

Why indeed.
