Former Arizona Republican candidate Kari Lake is bringing her election integrity lawsuit to the Arizona Supreme Court, requesting they review her challenge to the state’s 2022 governor’s election.
Lake lost the race to Democrat Governor Katie Hobbs by just over 17,000 votes.

Maricopa County
Lake has consistently argued that the results were flawed due to problems with ballot printers at some polling places in Maricopa County.
The former candidate has been a staunch supporter of Donald Trump’s yet to be proven claims of widespread election fraud in the 2020 presidential election.
That fight for election integrity has extended to her own race.
Lake’s lawyers insist that “public trust in elections is at an all-time low” and “trust must be restored” by granting “review to correct this manifest error.”
Promise Kept!@KariLake swore to the people of Arizona that she would take our fight for election integrity to the Arizona Supreme court.
Today, her attorneys filed to do just that.

Kari Lake Election Fight Goes to Arizona Supreme Court
Lake’s legal filing argues that technical issues in Maricopa County had disenfranchised Republican voters and that the chain of custody for those ballots in question had been broken at a facility located off-site.
Lower courts have consistently rejected Lakes’s challenge of election results, something her appeal to the Arizona Supreme Court states is a veritable admission that “Arizona election laws don’t matter.”
The Associated Press reports that despite the election integrity lawsuits in the four months since her loss, “the courts concluded she presented no evidence that voters whose ballots were unreadable by tabulators at polling places were not able to vote.”
The AP does admit that “defective printers produced ballots that were too light to be read by the on-site tabulators at polling places,” but county officials have insisted the votes were properly recorded by taking them to “more sophisticated counters at the elections department headquarters.”
BREAKING: The AZ Supreme Court has already granted the motion to expedite and set a schedule. Defendant response due 3/13. Amicus Curiae due by 3/16 (I expect many of these.) The court will decide whether to hear argument on the case in conference on 3/21. It will be en banc,… https://t.co/l7dn0zdh2F pic.twitter.com/xrGJm6Ucoy

Poll Suggests Republican Voters Don’t Support Claims
A research firm known as OH Predictive Insights recently asked a sample of registered voters in Arizona their thoughts on the gubernatorial election results.
Three-quarters of all respondents, including a majority of Republican voters (58%) agreed with the following statement:
“While the election was not run perfectly, there is no credible evidence of voter fraud that was widespread enough to have changed the outcome of the election.”
“Regardless of the narrative of a stolen gubernatorial election coming from Kari Lake, the acceptance of Katie Hobbs’ win is shared in majorities across party lines,” said Mike Noble, @OHPredictive chief of research. https://t.co/VotLPHEaib

Hobbs, meanwhile, is one of several high-profile Arizona politicians and officials to be accused of receiving bribes from the Mexican Sinaloa Cartel.
The Sinaloa Cartel is considered to be one of the most powerful and deadly drug cartels in the world.
Hobbs has denied the allegations saying she hopes those responsible for them “are held accountable.”
