House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) said that he intends to subpoena members of the Biden family – including possibly President Joe Biden and his son Hunter – in the panel’s continuing investigation into their influence-peddling business schemes.

“This is always going to end with the Bidens coming in front of the committee,” he said during an appearance on Fox Business. “We are going to subpoena the family.”

Comer said that the committee is actively “putting together a case” against the President as they try to establish a definitive link to his son’s alleged criminal bribery scheme.

“We know that this is going to end up in court, when we subpoena the Bidens,” he reiterated. “So we’re putting together a case and I think we’ve done that very well.”

Comer did not provide details such as a timeline or who exactly in the family would end up in court.

Subpoenas For The Biden Family

Evidence has been mounting for weeks that President Biden had some level of knowledge of his son’s incredibly lucrative business ventures.

The House Oversight Committee on Wednesday released redacted bank records which purportedly show the Biden family and their allies receiving at least $20 million from foreign sources.

“We continue to produce evidence about every two weeks,” Comer said.

Devon Archer, a former business associate of Hunter’s, testified to Congress that the President was put on speakerphone or met in person with his son’s business associates twenty times as a means to sell “the brand” and secure big payouts.

Archer’s testimony also confirmed that the then-Vice President Biden met in 2014 with Russian billionaire Elena Baturina — the widow of the former mayor of Moscow — at a Georgetown café. Coincidentally, Baturina was left off Biden’s Russia sanctions last year.

Hunter, according to a New York Post report last year, received over $100 million in investment backing from Baturina.

Being Obstructed Every Step Of The Way

Democrats continue to insist that the House Oversight Committee has failed in its attempt to link President Biden to his son’s business deals.

Reality seems to paint a different picture.

According to reported photographs, visitor logs, and other documentation, President Biden personally met with at least 14 of Hunter’s business associates over 16 occasions between 2010 and 2018 – including associates from China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Mexico.

But the corruption involves more than just Hunter.

The Committee released a memo back in May showing that family members of the President and their business associates had created a “web” of 20 shell companies to cover up payments from foreign nationals while Biden served as vice president.

The people involved allegedly include: Hunter, the President’s brother James Biden, James Biden’s wife Sara Jones Biden, Beau Biden’s wife Hallie Biden, Hunter’s ex-wife Kathleen Buhle, Hunter’s current wife Melissa Cohen, and “three children of the president’s son and the president’s brother.”

Despite the massive web of corruption surrounding the Biden family, Comer states that evidence has been consistent but slow-going because they are being obstructed by numerous entities.

“This is a complicated case, and we’re being obstructed every step of the way by the Department of Justice, by the FBI, by the Secret Service, by the IRS, and by the Biden family attorneys,” Comer explained.

He said the Biden subpoenas might take a little time as the committee still needs to talk to “about three or four more (business) associates.”
