The Pentagon is all-in on so-called pride month, with the five-sided building hosting various events to pledge allegiance to the rainbow flag. At an event last week, one of our military Generals announced that she chooses future Commanders in her department based on political and societal matters.
That’s right, while in uniform at our nation’s military headquarters, one of our military leaders said they sometimes purposely pick lesser qualified officers to lead our men and women. Just what you want to hear, the military lowers standards to make people feel good about themselves and their situation – I’m sure China is quaking in its boots.
So how is it that a military General feels comfortable making overtly political statements from a podium in the Pentagon and admitting freely that they are purposely weakening our military prowess? It’s because she is protected in a cloak of rainbow virtue.
The @DeptofDefense "pride" event last week gets more bizarre with scrutiny.

A threat?
Space Force Lieutenant General (LTG) and Chief of Space Operations DeAnna Burt said at a Pentagon Pride event last week:
“Transformational cultural change requires leadership from the top, and we do not have time to wait.”
The LTG continued:
“Since January of this year, more than 400 anti-LGBTQ+ laws have been introduced at the state level. That number is rising and demonstrates a trend that could be dangerous for service members, their families, and the readiness of the force as a whole.”
U.S Space Force goes WOKE.

That’s an awfully political statement, General; pretty easy to tell which side of the political aisle she identifies with, so what exactly does she mean by not having time for the leaders at the top to enact this transformational culture change she speaks of? She’s referring to those duly elected officials at the top, particularly in specific states, and the change is bending the knee to the progressive left’s extreme gender ideologies.
This brings us to the most chilling point of her first statement, the running out of time part. The end of her first line is a warning and a threat; since she doesn’t believe your state representatives are moving fast enough, she plans to take things into her own hands.

Self before service
LTG Burt explained her philosophy when choosing officers for command positions:
“When I look at potential candidates, say, for squadron command, I strive to match the right person to the right job. I consider their job performance and relevant experience first.”
All of that sounds like a good litmus test for squadron leadership. It’s what comes next in her philosophy that starts to get a bit hinky:
“However, I also look at their personal circumstances, and their family is also an important factor.”
Hmmm…that seems odd. Why would your family structure matter when fitting the best leaders in the best positions? Let’s find out:
“If the good match for a job does not feel safe being themselves and performing at their highest potential at a given location, or if their family could be denied critical health care due to the laws in that state, I am compelled to consider a different candidate, and, perhaps, less qualified.”
Space Force General DeAnna Burt, says that "400 anti-LGBTQ state-level bills" are forcing her to hire 'less qualified' candidates.

How this General is still sporting stars on her shoulders after remarks like that are beyond me. Admitting openly that she chooses leaders less qualified than others for political reasons is acknowledging purposely putting this nation at risk.

Excusing it all away
When asked for a comment on these alarming statements from the General, a Space Force official said:
“To stay ahead of our pacing challenge and win in a competitive environment, leaders must identify and remove barriers facing their teams.”
The official went on to tap dance a little closer to the truth by adding:
“We have the top talent in the Nation, and we must enable them to perform their missions by ensuring they are not worried about the health and safety of their families.”
What the General and this official are not so covertly alluding to are various restrictions and bans passed in Republican-led state legislatures on ‘gender-affirming care’ for minors and abortion restrictions. So the General will not place a better-qualified officer in a Command position in a state that bans the mutilation of children if the officer has a child who identifies as transgender.
Essentially this General and the Space Force and Department of Defense as a whole, with their lack of action against this flag officer, are supporting using the military power vested in them by their Congressional commissions to exert political influence on the country they are charged to serve, protect, and defend.
Still feel like you live in a democratic republic?

Rules for some, but not for her
Our elected officials and military brass are in a current headlock over the progressive infection in the Department of Defense. House Republicans released their defense appropriations plan, which includes the following:
- bans on abortion assistance for servicemembers
- end of transgender medical care
- hard stop of all diversity and extremist training
Meanwhile, defense leaders announced plans to give troops leave time and travel money to get abortions if they are stationed in states with restrictions or bans. Additionally, it’s estimated that the DOD spends $8 million annually on transgender hormone therapy, surgeries, and related care for servicemembers.
And so it appears that LTG Burt is taking up the charge against those elected by American citizens and attempting to mold the service in an image she prefers.
According to the U.S. Office of Special Counsel website, the Hatch Act:
“…limits certain political activities of federal employees, as well as some state, D.C., and local government employees who work in connection with federally funded programs.”
Spoiler alert, LTG Burt is a federal employee. The website further explains:
“The law’s purposes are to ensure that federal programs are administered in a nonpartisan fashion, to protect federal employees from political coercion in the workplace, and to ensure that federal employees are advanced based on merit and not based on political affiliation.”
I’m no lawyer, but do these things square with you? It’s time to wake up and smell the military police state; your military is no longer impartial and apolitical – they are no longer focused on defending our nation and Constitution.
They are politically and personally motivated and will destroy the fabric of this nation.
