Elon Musk has announced that “all revenue from advertising & subscriptions associated with the war in Gaza” will go toward hospitals and the Red Cross in both Israel and Gaza.
That’s quite the announcement from the world’s richest man.
X Corp will be donating all revenue from advertising & subscriptions associated with the war in Gaza to hospitals in Israel and the Red Cross/Crescent in Gaza

‘We should care about the innocent regardless of race, creed, religion or anything else’
Yahoo Finance reports:
X Corp will give hospitals in Israel and the Red Cross and Red Crescent in Gaza funds, owner Elon Musk said Tuesday afternoon.
Musk said the donations would consist of “all revenue from advertising & subscriptions associated with the war in Gaza.” Linda Yaccarino, the CEO of X since early June, also encouraged others to join the company in doing so.
…
X Corp “will track how funds are spent and go through the Red Cross/Crescent” to keep the donations in Gaza from going to Hamas, Musk subsequently said in response to an inquiry from a user. “Better ideas are welcome.”
“We should care about the innocent regardless of race, creed, religion or anything else,” he wrote.
Between the sickening terrorist attack by Hamas on Israelis on October 7th and Israel’s leveling of Gaza, the death toll has continued to rise, as well as those who are injured and in need of medical help.
With a five-day ceasefire in effect, now is the perfect time to boost humanitarian efforts.
The government funds war.
Elon funds hospitals.
Let that sink in.Thank you Elon for being a humanitarian! pic.twitter.com/b5JLO657jV

Musk the Humanitarian
Humanitarianism is nothing new for Musk. From Forbes in December 2022:
The Musk Foundation held $9.4 billion in assets at the end of 2021, according to a tax filing obtained by Bloomberg News. It sent about $160 million to nonprofits last year, by far the most the world’s richest person has donated from his organization in a calendar year.
The billionaire’s largest gift during the period was $55 million to the Memphis-based St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, followed by $54 million to the X Prize Foundation, which he partnered with in 2021 to create a prize for carbon removal projects…
Musk has many critics. Some fair, many not.
Regardless, he should be lauded for his efforts to help those suffering in one of the most war torn regions in the world right now.
