MSNBC Dem Claims Florida About to Be a ‘Terrorist State’ for Black Lesbians – She Vacationed There for Spring Break

Democrats are starting to amp up the rhetoric against the Free State of Florida, a clear sign the talking points are out in the battle against Republican Governor Ron DeSantis before his anticipated presidential announcement this week.

First, the NAACP laughably issued a ‘travel advisory’ cautioning black Americans against visiting the Sunshine State.

Now, Democratic strategist Aisha Mills is suggesting the state is unsafe for blacks and lesbians. This, despite having brought the family there for spring break.

Mills made the comments appearing as a guest of MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace.

“I just took my family to spring break in Florida recently, and I think about all of the folks who travel there for sun and joy and peace and restoration, and to be reminded that actually, this is getting to the point where Florida is about to be a terrorist state to many of us here in America,” she falsely claimed.

“Certainly as a lesbian, as a black woman, I don’t want to have anything to do with the place,” she said about the place she just recently wanted to have a lot to do with.

Mills Mocked Over Her Wild Comments

Mills went on to compare Florida not only to a “terrorist state” but, to suggest it is a place where people are ‘suppressed’ the way they are in dictatorial nations.

She thanked the NAACP for issuing their ‘travel advisory’ stating it “highlights how bigotry, bias, and ignorance do as much harm as we accuse other countries doing to people that they suppress.”

Aisha should probably fire her travel agent for sending her somewhere so oppressive. What, spring break with the Taliban was all booked up?

The NAACP over the weekend accused Florida of being “openly hostile toward African Americans, people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals” and warned against traveling to the state.

Needless to say, Mills was swiftly pilloried on social media over her inane comments.

“Nothing like a good family trip to a terrorism state. I remember when my family booked ours to Afghanistan right after 9/11,” wrote Fox News Radio host Jimmy Failla.

“No one cares that you’re gay. No one cares that you’re black. Stop using both of those as a virtual crutch. Florida doesn’t want your American hatred anyway so please do stay away,” one person wrote.

“The DNC talking points have clearly gone out,” another analyzed. “The problem is they’re gonna sound like idiots given all the images we’ll see of people having a blast in Florida this summer.”

Florida is Such a ‘Terrorist State’ That People of All Races Are Clamoring to Move There

Mills is a former candidate for Congress in New York.

Florida is such a “terrorist state” that people are fleeing New York and moving there in record numbers.

Texas and Florida have gained the most in Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) due to population migration while New York and California are hemorrhaging money. The top destination for U-Haul’s trucks, according to the company itself, was Texas followed quickly by Florida.

And the Brookings Institution indicates that Florida ranked number six in the country as a top destination for black people to migrate in recent years.

Mills has a cover image posted to her Twitter profile showing four people swimming in a large body of water, perhaps the ocean.

We really hope that’s not a picture from her recent spring break trip to Florida. We’d hate to find out she’s openly advertising for a “terrorist state.”
